After decades in the Fruit and Vegetable trading industry in France I wanted to pursuit my idea to offer beautiful coloured, sweet tasting new pear varieties to a wider consumer market.
My French family and I migrated from France in 2020 to Sherwood farm in Elgin in the Western Cape, South Africa. The farm was purchased in 2018 already with the aim to plant 15 hectares of Blush and Red pears.
In 2023, I bought an additional farm and named it Normandie and we are in the process of planting another 16 hectares of pears. The farm is equipped with a large packhouse and cold storage facilities.
In 2024, all our pears will be packed onsite under our registered trademark in our brand new packaging.
